Koinonia Fellowship
Definition: Christian fellowship or communion, with God or, more commonly, with fellow Christians.
We would like to welcome you, regardless of whether you attend Scranton Road Bible Church, have never attended a church, or just need to connect with other human beings right now, to join us in fellowship and community, or in Greek terms as exhibited in the Bible, Koinonia.
What are Koinonia Groups?
Koinonia Groups are Scranton Road Bible Church’s small group ministry. The word Koinonia is a Greek word used in the New Testament to describe the life that early Christians had in community together. It means, “close community fellowship” and is a time for people to come together to study the Bible and get to know one another at a deeper level.
How often do groups meet?
It varies. Each group has different times and days on which they meet. We encourage groups to meet at least two times a month. See dates and times listed for a group in which you might fit.
How do I join a group?
• Reach out directly to the leader listed in the group.
• Fill out the prayer card in your bulletin or contact us here. Note the group you would like to join and a leader will contact you.
• Show up on the day and time listed…although you should call the church office just to make sure they aren’t meeting somewhere else for the week.
• Contact Kevin O’Brien and he will help you find a good fit.
